Natural
Natural process, also called dry process, is one of the oldest ways of processing coffee. After harvesting, the whole coffee cherries are dried with the fruit still surrounding the bean. During drying, the sugars and fruit compounds from the cherry influence the final taste of the coffee.
Natural coffees are often sweeter, fruitier, and fuller-bodied. They can have flavour notes of berries, tropical fruit, wine, chocolate, or fermented fruit. This process is popular among customers who enjoy expressive and intense flavour profiles.
